Robben Island
Every year my family and I including a few friends organise a trip to another province. So one year we decided on going to Cape Town, it was the best decision we made because I dont regret anything. Even though it felt like we were on the road for days, we all got excited when we got there. The hotel we booked at was amazing and the staff members made us feel at home, I wouldn't mind staing there for the rest of my life. So as we got there, we went to so many places and the one I liked the most is visiting the Robben Island. I was excited about getting on the ferry to get to Robben Island as we went there the ride was okay but coming back it was as if the ferry was going to flip as the wind was so strong, that was not a nice ride. The tour was held by one of the guys that was also part of the people who suffered with Madiba. Its just so amazing hearing the life our Tata Mandela lived and sacrificed for us, the way his room was so small and he slept on the

floor. On our return we went to Cape Point, on the way the were so many baboons on the road that made it so difficult for the cars to move smoothly but we eventually got to our destination. At Cape Point we were able to see where the two oceans meet but getting there was such a mission, those steps were so much to get on top. The next day we went to Table Mountain and went on the cable car, it just makes one aware of how beautiful our country is. Enjoyed the holiday with the family and friends.
