Nigeria is a poor country with large amounts of government corruption. Leaders throughout the country are stealing the money from its citizens. Most people are tricked into bribery losing large amounts of money and they dont get anything in return. Very few people will even benefit from bribery. The money that is earned in Nigeria goes to very few people that do not put it back into the society. Most people are actually bribed into helping out the government because they feel that something good will come out of it; they are always dissapointed with the outcome. Nigeria also recieves lots of money from the amount of oil they have; this money is also controlled directly by the government. This is where most of the leaders get their tremendous amounts of wealth from. Nigeria is the biggest form of corruption that results in some leaders stealing up to five million dollars a day. Governement corruption is the reason for the extreme poverty levels in Nigeria.
