More pictures from the long trip. Still waiting on the camel shots. Also, here is a poem I wrote while we were broken down on the side of the road.

Bienvenue au Maroc

En Medina le chaleur attaque,
On doit s'échapper cet enfer,

Does it get in better? How about scrubbing oneself clean in a Haman, a traditional Moroccan bath? Or reading in an outdoor terrace wrapped in a traditional Djellaba? Or sleeping outside on the terrace under a gazebo? Or you can just wait to see pictures of the hotel in the sunlight.

Although every place we stayed was very nice, Hotel 2: la Kasbah de Toubkal wins the prize.

The hat I am wearing is a very touristy Maroc hat I bought in Marrakesh. That being said I find it very endearing.

This was a huge bug I found while perusing the fauna while the bus was broken down.

Those mountains peaks you see in the distance drop hundreds of feat to rocky ravines. Somewhere in between were the thin roads we bus crept along. I am glad I am alive.

A lot of people in the group had brought school supplies for this visit to a rural elementary school. It was a hike to get there.

This goat made sure that everyone who passed by it knew that this was his territory. This incident led to a lot of laughs over the course of the next 20 hours we spent on the bus.

The kids were very excited to see us. I let them have my camera and the went wild for a while. A lot of them have the distinct look of the beautiful Berber people.
