Camel for dinner
I'am not talking about the head on the right but the head on the top left! The Souk (market) where you can find anything and everything. Even though modern supermarkets do exist most Moroccans shop at the souk. The souk is usually the heart of the medina, where merchants and artisans go about there trade. As I walk threw the narrow passages struggling to make my way amidst people, donkeys, beggars and hustlers you know that this ai'nt“Marché Jean Talon”. If you look lost or hesitate upon which way to turn within this strange maze you are instantly spotted by some improvised guide that come to your rescue for a few dirhams. If you are intending to buy something be prepared to bargain, Moroccans love negotiating, it’s a game to them and they have all day to play. So if you really want to buy that “jellabah” that your never going to wear anyway, have fun, play the game and start negotiating at 75% under the price. After 30 minutes of back and forth with comments going from " you have lovely eyes to your husband is a lucky man" you should be about at 50% of the initial price. Who wins! Probably Mohammed Abdoul Bédin but who cares you had fun and you’r going home with
Olives
For your fancy, olives by the barrel your Jellabha.
