Narrow strips of sunlight broke through the badly constructed walls of the shack - which according to its’ sign - claimed to be a RETSULAUNT. Stefan und Barbara

Good friends with their 4x4. We'd met twice in Mozambique and met once more in Blantyre before they continued west towards Zambia. They were on a long mission voyaging out into the deserts of Southern Africa and travelled in the same slow pace as us. www.fischer-stefan.com

I love you too?

Not all the children harrased us. Some screamed things like: Thank you! How Old Are You? Fine Thanks, Excellent! Hello My Friend! And my favourite greeting was while ascending from the Shire valley an old man in torn suit saw me and for a split-second he was searching in hismemory for the few words of english he knew. Then called out to me with his arms raised to the sky: I love You!. Baffled I smiled and screamed back: I love you too! and we both smiled.

And I complain that my work is hard.

HArd struggling man in Limbe, carrying God knows what.
