DSCN5139We hit most of the highlights - went into the Van Gogh museum, walked by Anne Frank's house, and of course...
DSCN5145...obligatory handhold shot! This should mean we're up to four continents :)
Photo 29To Kenya. Here's the house we live in - complete with 10 bedrooms, a huge backyard, an indoor swing, and a giant rooftop porch where we have dinner every night.
018Here's our room - we started in a smaller one, but the girl who had this one moved back home. See ya!
DSCN5271Sometimes we'll see men climbing the neighborhood coconut trees. This confused us at first, but we looked into it and learned that they're tapping the trees to create a type of alcohol. Coincidence or not, they're also up late a lot of night singing and playing drums...
DSCN5228Now some shots of the town we live in. To begin, here is the tallest building in town (and, for that matter, within an hour or so's drive).
DSCN5237Vans, called matatus, which are the most common means of medium distance transportation. We take these when we need to go out into the field or head into Mombasa.
DSCN5239When we were out taking pictures for the blog we saw this monkey. Yup - monkeys running around everywhere over here.
DSCN5248Here are some pictures from the bridge into town - Indian Ocean and a beautiful little inlet with resorts/restaurants/etc. on it.
DSCN5246Here's the beach at a resort we frequent. You can buy a day pass there which includes a buffet, swimming at their infinity pool, and beach access.
