We hit most of the highlights - went into the Van Gogh museum, walked by Anne Frank's house, and of course...

To Kenya. Here's the house we live in - complete with 10 bedrooms, a huge backyard, an indoor swing, and a giant rooftop porch where we have dinner every night.

Here's our room - we started in a smaller one, but the girl who had this one moved back home. See ya!

Here's the rooftop porch where we hang out, eat dinner every night, have occasional movie nights, and once played an epic game of pictionary.

Just to keep things in perspective. Our house is right in the middle of a neighborhood of mud huts.

Our neighbors are super friendly and curious about us... we talk to their kids every day on the way to/from work.

Vans, called matatus, which are the most common means of medium distance transportation. We take these when we need to go out into the field or head into Mombasa.

When we were out taking pictures for the blog we saw this monkey. Yup - monkeys running around everywhere over here.

Here are some pictures from the bridge into town - Indian Ocean and a beautiful little inlet with resorts/restaurants/etc. on it.

Here's the beach at a resort we frequent. You can buy a day pass there which includes a buffet, swimming at their infinity pool, and beach access.
