While in Capetown, South Africa, our tour group had a bus driver named Joos for several days. Our tour manager, Catherine, called him "a bit of a country boy." AMAZING!!!
That is really all I can say - I have always wanted to go to Africa and to get to see these pictures makes me feel like I was there with ya'll ( and I REALLY wish I was there)!! I LOVE the lions, which has always been my favorite animal. I am glad that you had a wonderful time. Miss Ya'll!!

Believe it or not!
Yeah, Jade and Stacey, it does look like we photoshopped those pictures from some encyclopedia or safari magazine. Believe me, it felt pretty unreal to be out there in the savannah driving along and seeing giraffes, zebras and elephants all around you and occasionally coming upon a lion or leopard! One of the best experiences of our lives for sure!

Camera
Bob, We are using a Sony Cybershot, 8.1 megapixel. It's a relatively small digital camera that can fit in a pocket pretty easily. I wanted something convenient but of good quality. It doesn't zoom the way some of the more sophisticated digitals do, which would have been nice on safari, but it takes pretty good pictures. We've been happy with it anyway.
