Many travelers seem to have anxiety dreams. Describe your travel nightmares?

There will probably be heavy security in India for the next few years hopefully, which should make it a lot safer. I am going to Mumbai in May. I bought the ticket before the terrorist attacks. Maybe the attacks would have put me off if I had not yet bought the ticket. But probably not. I will be by myself there next May.

But what is the decider on my going to India afterall is that terrorists attack other places too. It is not like we would be less of a target in some other countries. But still a bit nervy anyway. Reply to this

I am flying to Brazil tomorrow. Last night was filled with travel nightmares.

First I dreamed that the plane I was in crashed into a field. I managed to get out of it, and watched smoke comming out of it, from a nearby graveyard.

And then I dreamed that I had a layover in Moscow(even though my flight to Brazil has no layovers) and couldnt get to the plane on time. This is a dream I have before almost all flights in different variations. I wake up before I find out if I missed the plane for sure. In this dream a huge Russian woman took my ticket and wandered off to find out which gate my plane goes from. I waited patiently for ages for her to come back. She came back a few minutes before the flight take off time and told me she doesnt know which gate. I ran from gate to gate trying to find my flight. While I was wondering if I should try the gates in a different direction, I woke up. Reply to this

Hey Mel - been off the net for a while, have a great time in Brazil!

I always get those kind of anxiety dreams before I travel as well, they are horrible! Reply to this

...have a great time in Brazil!

Thanks ! 😊

I travel as well, they are horrible!

At least I am getting used enough to these dreams, that I no longer wake up crying and get up to double check my flight ticket and todays date on the clock and computer to reassure myself that it was just a dream and I did not really miss the flight.

I was talking with a girl who was travelling in Asia. She has a reoccurring dream while travelling that she wakes up in someplace and has no clue where she is, not even which country. She said it is a really distressing dream.
