Hiya fellow bloggers!
I'm kinda new here so please be patient with me! =)
well... the idea of me coming in here is hopefully to gain some ideas as well as meet people who like to travel around like me too!
Erm... I've been so busy over the past 12 months that I've hardly taken a proper break. And I don't think I'll be allowed to go for a long holiday anytime soon, so I was thinking of maybe going for a short 3-4 days city break during the period between boxing day and New years day. Although I know that boxing day will be dead in most countries and most shops don't open, or most places of interest may not be open. I'm hoping for ideas.... is it really not worth going during that period of time?
Basically, the criterias are pretty simple. somewhere in europe which probably will be slightly cheaper... i've seen loads of short city breaks for £200 and I think I can afford that... and with 3 days, I can only go to one place. I'm not into shopping, so places like Milan is out for me. I've been backpacking round south of France and Spain before, so I'm not looking to go back there....
any ideas??? =P
Reply to this I'd think about eastern europe... I'm not sure where you're from (UK?) - but flights to Tallin, Krakow, Budapest, Villnius, Riga - would be my first choices...
Take lots of warm clothes and look forward to a white christmas 😊
Reply to this Hi all!
I'd suggest you Spain 😉
and you can even take a short spanish course and learn some Spanish too, there is a Christmas course at
don Quijote schools , you can choose among Seville, Granada or Tenerife. If I could, I would go to Tenerife,a Spanish Island in the Atlantic with its nice weather all year long.

Reply to this Hi paqui--
i couldn't find a link to message you, so here's my question publicly 😊
you suggested the don quijote schools - do you have any experience with them? i am trying to find a spanish language school and am a little lost because there are just sooooo many language schools! why don quijote particularly? and do you think there are certain cities that are better than others for learning spanish?
gracias!
