Flying to Singapore then planning to take a bus to Melaka - then bus again from Melaka to Kuala Lumpur.
Is this a good idea?
And how long will a bus take from SG to Melaka and Melaka - KL?
Any tips please?

We have done exact same trip just other way round:-) It was really painless and very comfortable to be honest:-) Melaka is a short drive (2h maybe) from KL (but have to take a bus to one of the terminals in the outskirts) and it is astonishing - if you are a food lover you will enjoy it a lot. Melaka to SG was around 5h including border crossing so not bad either and very comfy as well:-)
