The most amazing place...the whole world! It is impossible to describe one country that stands out and unfortunately I still have many to see. We often get asked by our friends which country is our favourite but we haven't managed to answer that one. It depends on the experience you have had there and your frame of mind and there are so many favourites to choose from. Each culture is different and it depends on what you are looking for while travelling.

Here are a few:
The simplicity and complexity of Africa and its people (yes, I know I am contradicting myself)
The beauty of the ocean: Maldives, Red sea, Madagascar, Mozambique and so many more!
The history of Europe, but not only Europe
Beautiful mountains: well, far too many to mention

I could go on and on, but then I would bore all our bloggers! So, unfortunately I cannot answer the question, because there are too many amazing countries to see
Happy travelling, all of you....

The answer is obviously subjective, for me, there are three most beautiful places in the world: French Polynesia with crystal clear sea, white sandy beaches, a relaxing holiday, are places that leave you breathless. The Antilles with its Caribbean landscape, you could do a mini-island cruise on a catamaran and enjoy the sea but also landscapes that offer these fabulous islands. Kenya for a safari that is an experience that remains in the heart and it's exciting, the lodge in the various parks are well equipped and very beautiful, you can try the thrill of sleeping in the heart of the Masai Mara or the tsavo.

Traveling to India is definitely not for individuals who enjoy the private resort experience, that's for sure. But not everyone wants their vacation to be so prepackaged. Some of us want a little adventure. India is a wonderfully diverse, huge country filled with everything from white sand beaches to lush tropical rainforests and everything in between.

I immediately thought of Sri Lanka........ despite the civil tensions in that country, they have managed to preserve its natural beauty. Such an abundance of natural greenery, literally overflowing.... its breathtaking.

So far for me it's Cape Town, South Africa anytime from September to March. Great weather, breath-taking scenery and the locals are quite hospitable and friendly.

I am originally from The Bahamas however, my previous job with The Ritz granted me the privilege of experiencing various cultures. Like someone mentioned "not everyone is looking for a prepacked vacation" and I concur! Sometimes you want a more laid back atmosphere yet still have someone there doing the work for you, You can find that in The Bahamas. Each island has it's own unique charm. You can choose from Rustic to City, Historic to simply island life, on New Providence (NAS), Abaco(MHH) and Grand Bahama (FPO) you can unravel every scene you can possibly think of! So after travelling near and far the most amazing place I can think of is The Bahamas where the variety is endless..... Reply to this

After dipping a toe in the south pacific, I can now say Polynesia (im dropping the french from French Polynesia as its polynesian land and polynesian people own it not the french) is one place I could happily live out my days..particularly the island of Rangiroa which is not as picture perfect as Bora Bora but the people, the connectedness with the land and the pure simple tranquility have blown me away..im in love 😊 Reply to this

We had just finished a great dinner and the waitress asked my 10 year old son whether he enjoyed the meal. He replied "It's the second best meal I've ever eaten." She asked, "What was the best meal?" He replied "I haven't eaten it yet." Such wisdom at such a young age! So I have a lot of seconds and thirds, leaving open the possibility of finding the best. On that list of amazing places would be
1) our safari in Kenya where the animals were the main and only attraction
2) Rome, my favorite city that has everything; history, culture, and food.
3) Thailand, my favorite country with friendly people, scenery (mountains in the north and beaches in the south), and food, again!
I could go on, but it's more fun to keep looking. Reply to this

Depend upon on a person's interest, I am more on water and nature and the best and amazing place for me is Australia, Bali and Southern Philippines especially underground river in Palawan and the white sand beach in Boracay Island. Reply to this

I've been to over 100 countries, and many of them have been amazing. That said, many are fairly similar in lots of ways, but one isn't - and for that reason it is my favourite country in the world.

Turkmenistan!

Getting there is a pain in the ass, but its capital Ashgabat it amazing. Some have described it as a cross between the glitz of Las Vegas and the paranoia of Pyongyang. This is a fair summary.

Ashgabat is an experience. Reply to this

That's a very vague question, though my very subjective answer would be Indonesia. For some reason, I just fell really in love with the place. Amazing scenery, amazing people, amazing food, amazing experiences.

Close second would be a tossup between France and Greece. Reply to this
