An adult female mountain gorilla in the newly habituated Oruzogo Group located in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has brought joy to the family by delivering the first known set of twins in this locality.
An adult female mountain gorilla in the newly habituated Oruzogo Group located in the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has brought joy to the family by delivering the first known set of twins in this locality.
The twin mother is Adult Female (ADF) Kakoba while the dad is not yet established .The mother flanked by protective adult females was sighted with two young ones early this week.
The other sets of twins have occurred in the Nkuringo family in the Southern sector mothered by Mama X-mas in December 2006 and later by Kwitonda, the famous Katungi and Muhoozi in 2008.
