Where are you?

1. I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
2. Currently living in Milton Keynes, England
3. My motivation was travel and what was meant to be a brief working pit stop for 3 months. I've now been here a year and a half! I really love it here, have made lots of friends and sing regularly at jazz jams which I could never find back home. Also it's great to be on the doorstep of so many different countries!
4. This one is the question I keep asking myself. The more established I get here the less I want to go home. At the moment I plan to stay until I get bored. I'm lucky enough not to be limited by visa restrictions.
5. There are a few things I miss. The friendliness and straigh forwardness of Aussies is a big one. I think I'm a bit full on for some English people, especially as I live in the south. I miss the city of Melbourne itself as it's beautiful and I miss regular blue skies! And of course my family and closest friends. Reply to this

1) Boston, Massachusetts

2) Costa Rica for the last 12 years

3) Business, pleasure, got tired of all the BS in the USA, chose a country with one of the best environmental practices, and who has also done away with their military. I love CR.

4) Lived for 28 years in the USA, I put my time in and it's a big world. I may not always live in Costa Rica, but I don't really have any intention on going back to my home country for anything other than a visit.

5) I miss the Autumn season the most, the leaves changing color, the crisp cool air that time of year. Here in CR all we have is rainy season and dry season. Reply to this

1. South West of France
2. Baghdad, Iraq
3. Lots of curiosity to start with which brought me first to China for about 7 years & then the chance to get a job where I get to help people who don't have some much of this freedom that allows us to travel
4. Mmmm ... always remember the day I left from France to move to China, back then deep inside already felt that I was going to be gone for a while! It is been 8 and half years and it doesnโ€™t quite feel like it is going to stop anytime soon...(but eh, "never say never")
5. The thing I miss ... friends, family and little things such as a nice espresso with croissant at the terrace of one of those French cafe - the things I absolutely do not miss: the bureaucracy & the habit to complain about everything

- We are from Matiere, New Zealand
- Currently living in Adliya - Bahrain
- Motivated by a tax free teaching contract, which worked in well with our new lifestyle - travel and adventure - Don't
want to leave that Bucket List too late!
- We are here for 2 years, leaving here in July to ride Route 66 then home to NZ as a base for further travels after a good
old catchup, - aiming for 20 Summers in a row (we are in our 50's).We ticked off about another 8 countries since we've
been based here.
- Mates and Family of course, NZ motorcycling roads (Bahrain is only 48km long) meat pies, and being able to have a beer
outside versus being hidden away
