My two oldest kids and I will be traveling from Chicago to Europe for the first time this summer and need some travel advice
Our plan is to fly into London in July and we will be spending 4 days in London then head to Paris for 4 days and then head to Berlin for 4 days and finish up in Rome before returning to Chicago.
What is the most cost efficient way to get from London to Paris? Paris to Berlin? Berlin to Rome?
Thanks
Reply to this London to Paris with the Eurostar train, but plane is also possible. Don' know which one would be cheapest at that time of the year. In both cities the airports are far from the city center, so don't forget to check out how much it costs to get from airport-city. Berlin to Rome is very far, and unless you love train travel going by airplane is probably cheaper and definitely mcuh faster. Paris to Berlin don't know.
Reply to this Thank you. Does anyone know about how much it costs from the city center to the airports in London and Paris?
Reply to this There are several airports in each city but the airport web pages have all the information on the above issue. Heathrow can be reached by tube, but it is a long and shaky ride from the center. Gatwick only by train.
