I\'m hoping to take off for just over a week at Christmas time (from Canada), and I\'m having a tough time deciding where to go. I\'m leaning towards heading north to see the northern lights--maybe Alaska or northern Europe, but I\'m also thinking a week in the sun would be nice that time of year.
Does anyone have some suggestions for a fun place to spend Christmas? I\'m not too concerned about whether or not I actually celebrate Christmas, although finding somewhere different to do that would be nice. I\'m not afraid of winter weather either...
Reply to this When choosing your Safari vacation, often four questions come to your mind:
Where do I stay?
What is there to do?
How will I travel?
How much?
Africa is a large continent blessed with wondrous wild life. These locations are complemented with world class safari lodges, safari tents, five-star hotels, safari camps, hostels and family safari villas. I suggest you go to East Africa. Especially in Dec you will get rock bottom rates. And if Flight costs are high, fly on the cheap to UK then take the holiday discounted flight to Kenya from Gatwick. They fly weekly.
Let me know if you need specific information.
