I am 22 years old. I finish my degree next year and was hoping to work/travel in the states for about a year. I will have a masters degree in History and should havesome money saved up by then too. I basically know nothing at all about US visas so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Reply to this

Well where are you from? If you're from the UK I don't think it's possible to get a work visa? As I was looking into this a bit myself. Reply to this

Hi Nicola - Welcome to Travelblog!

If you have master's degree, you could quality for an H-1B Visa. You might have to already have a job lined up in the U.S to get one though, however I can't think of any reason why being from the UK would prevent you from getting a work visa, in general.
