Anyone have any suggestions for packing up jewelery for longer trips? nothing major, few necklaces and earrings, just don't want to get there and everything to be in a big tangled clump Reply to this

I lay them all out flat on a washcloth (or other distinctive cloth, like a bandana or scarf), and then roll it up. Everything stays separated and protected and it doesn't take up more space (or more weight). Reply to this

I have a small sectioned plastic container I use (think of a large pill box type, not sure what it's actually intended for!). Works well. Reply to this

I always put them in a box - all together and carry it in my handbag... Never check in... Reply to this

On the rare occasions I take any jewelery, I wrap each piece separately in paper and cellotape it shut, and then put it all in the hard box I have for sun glasses.

Or you could always buy a jewellery roll. It has lots of little pockets, ziped bits and a place to slot rings on and then rolls up and ties (kind of just a fancy version of the washcloth idea but very useful!) Reply to this

I put them all into separate tiny plastic bags (the kind with the press together top) then put them all in a make up case to keep them together. Reply to this
