He sleeps late, she gets up early. She likes luxury travel, he likes to travel on a shoestring budget. He travels light, she needs more than his body weight in stuff. ... How do you and your partner work out your differences while travelling?
My boyfriend does not have as much travel experience as I do, so sometimes the way to get around the opposites thing is to only present him with one option, and leave it at that, until he finds out that there are others.
Reply to this I do trust my Guy and follow him whatever because He has more experience of traveling that I do... and it's worth it 😉 I do have different options in traveling as I am from a different background and experience of traveling as He but if somebody gives you a better view of traveling and gives you ideas - why not to follow?... I would say He is the best! 😉
Reply to this I think its always about compromise and flexibility. The two of us are completely different in so many ways but managed to travel for 9 months together without any major fights. Its important to do things that the other wants to, for instance I went mountain-biking a few times as its a hobby of Al's, and he put up with going to markets which he hates! Oh and we have a rule that you have to be able to carry what you bring!
