So I'll be leaving for south east asia in a few weeks and I still haven't been able to find a decent passport-important document security pouch, preferably something I could wear around my neck and under my shirt, I also would love some good recommendations for a comfortable yet light and compact sleepy sac. Can anyone point me out to some good places to find these items online? Reply to this

Hi

Sleepy sac? Where in South East Asia are you going? In South East Asia you usually stay in guesthouses with bedding provided. Sheets are even provided in dorm rooms, in the few cities where they are available. We took very thin sleeping bags with us the first time we travelled and didn't use them.

Hello Danny 😊

Most of us use a wallet that straps around our waists and lies flat against our stomachs, to carry passport and money. These should be available in camping store and maybe in student travel agencies too. They should be for sale on the internet too, of course, but I do very little internet shopping so dont have a clue which are the reputable vendors.

Yeah, as Kate said, a sleeping bag is absolutely not necessary in SE Asia, with guesthouses being so available and inexpensive. Even if you camp, it is generally warm enough to not need a sleeping bag. If you still really want to take one, then everything is available in a good camping store.
