''Wanderly Wagon was an Irish children's television series which aired on RTÉ from Saturday 30 September 1967[1] until 1982. Wanderly Wagon followed human and puppet characters as they travelled around Ireland visiting interesting cations, rescuing princesses and generally doing good. The original premise of the show expanded to follow the characters to magical lands of Irish mythology, and even into outer space.''
Great idea!!
I second the nomination for
Wanderly Wagon. Very entertaining blogs...and they only have 2 recommendations (including one from us!)
Reply to this I nominate
Wanderly Wagon
Great user name! Wish I thought of it first. I used to watch that show a lot, when I was a kid.
Reply to this Wow, thanks!! A bit embarrassed. Thanks to those who nominated me. I've been a TravelBlog addict for nearly three years now. When I'm not traveling it provides the fix I get from traveling (to a certain extent, you cant beat the real thing!!). I've been traveling now for 6 months with my girlfriend Michelle and sometimes my blogs can be funny, some informative and some times I can do a bit of giving out about the bad things that I see. I write my blog first and foremost for myself, so that in years to come I can look back on it all. Secondly to keep all my friends and family updated and thirdly but not least, so that others out there, about to, or thinking of traveling can get some inspiration from what I have seen just like I have from so many others.
It used to be said that traveling was for the privileged, but that is not so now. What I can say is that I feel privileged to have been able to travel at all. Right now I'm living my dream. (got to go, off to the Niah Caves, the worlds largest!!)
Thanks!!

Yeah, same here. It is virtual travel. 😊
I write my blog first and foremost for myself, ...
And now it is also providing the virtual travel for the rest of us, while we save for travel, or attend to the responsibilities that are currently keeping us from our real travels. 😊
It used to be said that traveling was for the privileged, but that is not so now.
It still is for the priviledged in a way. Those of us who do it generally come for relatively wealthy countries.
What I can say is that I feel privileged to have been able to travel at all.
Same here again. We are incredibly lucky!
You now have 4 recommends. That should get your future blogs on the Front Page, if they have a minimum of 600 words and it has photos.

You probably have noticed some bloggers who are good, but have not yet got enough recommends to get on the Front Page then. If you have noticed such bloggers who have fewer than 3 recommends, feel free to nominate them to be a future Bloggers of the Week in the following thread.
Nominate a Blogger to be next weeks Unknown Blogger of the Week.

That's true to be honest. I suppose what I was thinking and mean is that, for my parents generation it was nearly impossible.
Reply to this I know! Its cool. Thanks again to everyone. I've always wanted to be on it and it was a bit of an ambition of mine!I was showing my girlfriend the front page like I would a winning lotto ticket. Hopefully now I can write some good blogs and keep people entertained. I'll definitely be searching for new good bloggers and recommending them. I loved the piece that was put up about the TV show Wanderly Wagon. Fortycoats was a hero of mine, with his flying sweet shop1
Reply to this I had almost forgotten about all those characters. Fortycoats checking his stocks gave me a laugh on U tube. I had forgotten that his stocks are a his candy. I was expecting him to switch on his computer and check the stock market.
