What is the least amount of money you've spent/lived by per day while travelling?
I managed 1-2 Lats (about $2-4) per day in Latvia. I probably won't go that low again lol. At least I hope not to. The reason I spent so little is because circumstances forced me to.
I remember through one day, I would buy:
A new bottle of water: 40 santims
Bread: 35 santims
Hot dog: 95 santims
Total = 1.70Ls per day
Not fun.
But on average, with full access to money, I would spend closer to 10-20 Lats per day.
Hostel = 5 Lats
B,L,D = 12 Lats
How about you? What's the least amount of money you've spent? I'm looking to go through Asia next year and I'm looking for a realistic figure.

Reply to this When I was in Thailand with my daugher, on some days we only spend 5 Euros between us. Those were on lazy days when we didnt go anywhere. Our room cost around 2 Euros per night and we spent the other 3 on snacks and drinks and sat on our balcony or in a cafe playing and chatting with people.
