Hi everyone!
I just started at my new project in the school of architecture. And the theme i am working with right now is about the day rhythms in different countries. After i collected information i am going to make a mapping and diagrams that could be used as an instrument to make a new architecture consepts at places in the world it could be used.

Så my question is: How was your experience of the day and night in the country you have been visited?
Is it any difference from the places you use to live?
For eksemple: The length of working day for the people. When they are go out, if it is many people outside afternoon, what the traditions about day and night. How they use housing at day and night? For eksemple it is empty in the daytime because everybody will stay outside and engoj the sun, and use their homes only for sleeping?

So if you could answeer here, it would be a very big help to develop an a new funny instrument that could be used to make a new architecture for people😊

Thank you for all answeers😊

And sorry for my poor english:-p Reply to this

Hello Yelena 😊

Having visited 40 countries, the answer to that would be rather long. Are there any countries you are particularly interested in?

Asia:

long business hours and the day/night contrast is stark. Most Asian cities are commuter cities, so the ridiculous congestion and jampacked conditions found during the day are completely missing at night. In addition, many people rely on public transit (instead of driving) so people need to get home before the night ends. Therefore, most countries virtually "shut down" from 10pm onwards.
