Yes, I'm still here, but unfortunately Travelblog is giving me grief every time I try to upload photos, so I put some on Flickr instead - if you try http://www.flickr.com/photos/19730897@N07/ I think you might find them, but it may just be a temporary website address so best of luck! I will keep trying to put all of my trip photos on there, especially the ones that never made it onto the Travelblog pages. So, what's new in Warrnambool I hear you all clamouring to ask? Well, today it's bloody hot (42C), but that's no surprise to anyone. It's a Total Fire Ban Day, so there'll be a lot of upset people wanting to have a BBQ to celebrate NYE, but I guess they'll have to eat salad instead (long live the vegetarians!). Other than that - ... read more

Hola all! Currently battling the flu, so have spent much of the last 48 hours sleeping. What's new? Not much - got some volunteer work coming up in town (Warrnambool) in a couple of weeks, still waiting to get well so I can donate blood, have plenty of plants to get Cheryl's garden going and gradually chipping away the waiting time for the next work visa for Canada. Would put on some photos, but will have to wait until the first of next month for the computer to so-operate in the uploading process. Hope that's enough to keep the (very small) hordes of friends updated..... Ciao for now, see you all when I'm not sleeping! E... read more

Yes, I'm back again. Landed in Melbourne after a VERY long 2-plus days of international travel. Believe you me, the novelty of air travel wears off after the first 24 hours. My brain is still all over the place, so don't be expecting a billion emails for a while - I'm still adjusting to which side of the car to get into, let alone which side of the road to drive on (luckily I haven't driven yet). Just a quick note ofr now to let everyone I know know that I landed safe and sound (and very tired). More soon y'all! Emily... read more

Howdy all! Well here are a few pics - Christmas, Mia's christening, first day of school and THE PONY!!! The kids have never gotten so much done before school!! After making up a job / price list I am now broke, but my toilet is clean, shed is tidy, kids rooms are clean, dishes put away etc! For those not in the know, Reilly got a pony for her birthday, and the list contains how much money they get for each job they do. Lessons from Belinda cost $10, so bums are cleaning all over the shop!!!!!!!! Apparently everyone except me knew that Neville and Jill were planning on getting her a pony. Mmmmmm. After everyone had demonstrated how quiet she was, I got on, and it was the first time she had moved out of ... read more
