I woke early and went out to watch the birds and kangaroos here for the last time. It was misty but I could still see across the paddock next door and it gave the area a mystical look, which was lovely. I haven’t seen the Bush Stone Curlews for a few days and they weren’t there today either. Maybe they’ve moved on. When Barry got up we had breakfast, packed up and left about 9.40am. We drove straight to Duaringa to dump our waste water and top up the tank. There was a sign next to the dump point which had a poem welcoming visitors and inviting them to come across to the Information Centre nearby. It was very sweet and written by one of the volunteers, so we decided to go over and say hello,
