Don't Forget to pack me!Don't Forget to pack me!Don't Forget to pack me!

Whenever we pack up camp max starts to get a bit worried. He made sure today that he was in the pile of stuff getting packed into the car.
Another "free camp" at Bedford Weir, Blackwater which is a small coal mining town.
We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutley froze!
Tried some red claw which another camper caught and cooked up. Tastes like a scallop. Now we are on the hunt for some red claw traps to cart around with us.
Finding other travellers to be very friendly. Everyone want's to know where you are going and where you've been. Getting lots of advise from the grey nomads :-) Have come accross a few people our own age which is nice for a change.
On saturday we spent 6+hrs socialising with the other campers. Even got invited into a caravan for morning tea! It was great to get out of the cold. I think they were all worried about us freezing in a tent! Us tenters are few and far between.
From here we are heading back to the coast to some warmer weather.
Next stop Carmila Beach.
