After 3 amazing weeks in New Zealand we were heading for the shores of Australia. Thanks to 2 amazing people we met in Cambodia we were able to stay in a penthouse apartment over looking Sydney Harbor for 12 nights!! :) We spent a couple of days down on Bondi Beach amongst the fitness fanatics! needless to say those 3 sit ups I did in the morning (got out of bed 3 times) got the 6 pack (of beer) toned up just right so I didn't look to much out of place :P We went to a swimming pool next to Bondi which is filled up with sea water and was the perfect temperature (freezing!) after stomping round the Coastal walk for 2 hours. I can't remember when it was exactly, but a year before we actually embarked on this trip we had this crazy idea that it might be a cool idea to do a 12 month round the world trip. The first part of the trip would be to live and work at a ski resort for an entire ski season (usually about 6 months) somewhere in North America . As well as that, we were to continue travelling for the remaining 6 months. Now we just had to decide where to go. For the ski season part our options included Colorado rockies, California (Tahoe etc.) or Canada.
