It’s like pushing a “Reset” button for my heart, body and soul. I go home feeling relaxed and able to conquer the world – seriously. Each day spent in NSW brings a sense of freedom and a serene feeling that lasts several days into my next week. Even a short weekend visit is to my benefit and I take advantage of it as much as I can. Easy Travel for a Weekend Getaway There’s no better way to spend an hour and a half - driving to the coast. I sing with the radio and laugh in anticipation. It’s a beautiful drive, too, through many naturalized ... read more

Went to go for a walk yesterday but as I got dressed a cloud suddenly came over and it started to rain! So I decided to start packing a few bits ready for the hostel.. in the meantime the weather started to get nice again so I sat on the balcony in my shorts with some crisps enjoying the sunshine. The cockatoos (which I previously name parrots) came onto the balcony edge and started squawking at me, then Chris, Jacqui's house mate, came out and told me he was going to be having a massage in the lounge, so I said that I would get out of his way and head to my bedroom. He insisted that I stay on the balcony, so I did, however after around 10 mins it stared to rain again so ... read more

Steve and I took the van down to Toowoon Bay for the weekend. Our friend's, Teresa and Wayne and their youngest daughter Chloe were staying in a cabin at the Resort. We had a lovely relaxing weekend. The weather was a little unsettled but we still managed to take nice long walks, swim in the pool, and relax in the spa. Our friend's Robert and Tracy joined us on Saturday evening for a bbq dinner and on Sunday Teresa, Wayne, Chloe, Bianca, Steve and myself walked to the local Italian restaurant for lunch. It was a lovely weekend.... read more

So here is the blog of my writing... continuing from the other blog of my writing... hope you get it As soon as I entered the shadowy, narrow alley, I heard his footsteps. They were distinct. Their sound overpowered the light drip-drip of droplets crashing from second floor fire escape into murky puddles. It could be heard even among the domestically abused screams coming from an open window in the third floor of an adjacent building. I sped up ever so slightly, keeping my vision focused on the light emanating from the alley's end and my mind on the thought of my apartment steps. Do I look back? Ok, but be quick. My eyeballs jerked my head back over my shoulder and I saw him. He was a behemoth. He was hidden under black baggy sweats ... read more
