The graduate theater here at Villanova is doing the musical, Urinetown, and I went to see it tonight. It was absolutely hysterical, and so well directed (by Father Peter, our future president!). The play takes place in a town with a water shortage and a strict government run by a money hungry dictator and his montage f side kick men. The police regulate the town so that no one is able to pee unless they pay money for public rest rooms. It sounds like a ridiculous premise, and it is, but the musical plays on that, and has a narrator who is a police man who explains everything in simple terms to a little girl in the musical, such as "this is the scene where the hero of the story falls in love with the heroin,"
