And pretty soon, summer will be gone. What a great ride it's been though. We have kept ourselves busy with many “Small Town, USA” functions but most of all, we have enjoyed being with our family. We hope all of you have enjoyed your summer. Not to sound conceited or vain, we are going to start this blog out by talking about “moi! I think part of the aging process is that you generally start to slow up ( or is it down?) in some of the things you used to do. At least, it seems that way with me. I have definitely slowed up ( or down) in faithfully writing our blogs. I think there was a time I was writing them almost daily...oh, you poor souls! It must have been like showing you our home movies everyday. YAWN! ZZZzzzzzz. See….I told you there was more to come. I’m sure you have been sitting anxiously next to your communication device for the big alert announcing this follow-up blog. That’s why I didn’t put it off any longer. I know, I know….Sometimes I may seem delusional. No comments, please! We did take a couple days to recoup and clear our minds….plus make a Texas Hot visit with our two daughters, Lory & Kim. That made the day! Now for the “pièce de résistance” that we promised. Is it true, is it?? ❤️❤️ We’ve been pretty sluggish in writing these blogs so there’s a lot to catch you up on. Nothing super terribly exciting so don’t get all hipped up. It’s time, Folks. Pack your bags. We gotta go. We have to go back. “Back where?”, you ask…..back to our winter respite at Tropical Palms, of course. The chill is in the air. Autumn has arrived. The frost will soon be on the pumpkin. The bus leaves first thing in the morning. Ticket master Lulu will be there to collect your tickets and assign your seats. No crowding, please….plenty of room for everyone. Hope you are as excited as we are to refresh our adventures in the sunny state of Florida. It’s been a good summer. We thoroughly enjoyed all our times with our family and friends. We made it to all our routine dental and medical appointments ….coming away unscathed fortunately.
