Well finally we are back, i was getting sick of driving. Today we just relaxed, Steve and I were both tired... so we played with the kids and then did some killing on the Battlefield. The kids broke the rail on the stairs over the weekend, so i fixed that. They loved me even more after that. On Tuesday Steve had to work so Melissa was home and we spent the day doing some work around the house and I taught his Pierce how to ride a 2 Wheeler bike. It was great! We went out to Buffilo Wild Wings at had the hottest wings i have ever tested in my life. My eyes couldnt stop watering. On Wednesday Steve and I cemented his sons Basketball ring out the front of the house and went in ... read more

This might be more fun that I can stand! (Putting pictures on the Internet) Here is one that is self-explanatory....DINNER! We were staying in Harpswell, Maine, which is just outside Brunswick and about an hour north of Portland. My husband's brother lives on High Head. Both husband and brother graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick. Dinner that night was in the home of the owners of the house we rented for the week. They are also old friends. ... read more

Almost ready for our trip to Maine. Thought I wouldn't be able to purchase a digital camera beforehand, but I was wrong. Today, thanks to an old friend, Amazon.com, I made the purchase, and, with special shipping, it will be here Thursday. I did a great deal of comparison shopping online and finally decided to go with an Olympus C765 w/10x zoom. No way could I find it at the local camera shops. But Amazon.com came through! And at a much lower price. With what I saved, I was able to pay for the special shipping, 2 extra memory cards, an extra battery, and a carrying case. ... read more

The Countdown is always difficult. The final getting ready for a trip, no matter how long or short. This trip is to Maine for just a week. Stop the mail. Stop the newspapers. Get the dog to a kennel. Get all the clothes clean and pressed. Set up the light timers. Get out the door. But the hassel is usually worth it. ... read more
