Cobá, Q.R., a 4 de octubre del 2009. Saludos. Ahì les mando unas fotos de las ruinas de Ek' Balam, ubicadas 45 minutos al norte de Valladolid, Yucatàn. El sitio es màs viejo que Chiche Itzá. Como las ruinas no estàn muy "choteadas", pues creo que sus fotos no seràn muy comunes. Sòlo ha sido limpiado en parte, dado que como buena ciudad perdida que fue, la vegetaciòn selvàtica lo cubriò durante años. El edificio màs grande es la Acròpolis, que se supone es el 2o. edificio maya màs grande en la penìnsula de Yucatàn (30 metros de alto y màs de 100 de largo). Falta mucho por limpiar: toda la parte posterior de la acròpolis es una selva, y las dos piràmides a sus lados son pràcticamente dos lomas cubiertas de espesa vegetaciòn.
