Having a hard time finding prices for the archeological parks. Are the tours worth it?
N Posts: 1
I'm going to fly in to Mexico city this August and do the Teotihuacan park, then down to Oaxaca to whatever ruins are down there and to be a beach bum for awhile then east northest to the Yucutan penninsula for more ruins and local attractions.
I'm going with a friend, backpacking and hostels where we can. I've been researching a lot lately, but am having a hard time finding exact prices. Has anyone gone recently to the parks or done a trip similar recently that can tell me what the charges will be. I would reallly like to know if what I'm planning on saving is a practical number.
What can a bargain traveler expect to find for accomodations along that route? Anything anyone recommends as a can't miss?

Hi Leah !!
visit sundays, it is free.
find on this page more info about activities in the Yucatan :http://www.kaaxan.com/index.php?page=actividades
You will find lots of hostels down your road, I recommend hostelplaya in Playa del Carmen, owned by a friend of mine (Mario)
I think you can book online, although I doubt you actually need to.
If the are several of you you can try renting a flat, might be cheaper. Reply to this
