money and travelling with it....please read on....
I have posted a few topic already and would firstly like to start by thanking everyone for there advice it is much appricated.
My next question is proberly the most important i think it is proberly the answer to going and staying...
How much money is really enough to start travelling?
I don't really want to work whilst i am away however having been to australia before i reackon that i might do a little work down there and maybe new zealand aswell.
I was thinking around about 10grand..if we dont get RTW ticket on the other hand i was thinking 7grand with RTW ticket (pound sterling)
Any advicewould be grateful..

Reply to this Hi Gooner i have a RTW ticket and im going with a similar amount and i think it should be enough and i may do some work when i am in Oz, it depends on how you like to travel?, i am going to be using bargain basement hostels and staying at peoples places by using couchsurfing and i have worked out a rough budget of about £500 a month, this will differ some place are cheaper than others so some places may rack up to £800 a month but than one country maybe £300. i am doing most stuff independently and some of my internal flights and treks i have already paid up and booked so those are costs i do not need to worry about.
It really depends on what you want to do really and how much you think you can get by on each day and how much you can save and how long you want to wait before you go?
