Geo: 51.3287, 1.41078The party is almost over. I start work tomorrow. I am actually quite excited. Steve is going to drive me in and pick me up. I need to sort out the bus.This week we have been trying to get things done that I won't be able to do once working. I came down with a horrible cold on Monday. I slept for about 36 hours (Monday evening until Wednesday morning). While I slept Steve took our rental car back. We didn't figure there would be a need for a car until we picked our car so he took it back and walked home. He also did a little shopping, got his hair cut and beard trimmed and stopped for a pint. Geo: 51.3287, 1.41078So we arrived November 15th, Thursday. The ride over was not all that for being business class. Food was not great, movie selection stunk but I did get sleep. Probably because I was exhausted! It was a bit of a fiasco at the airport before leaving. We were allowed two 70lb pieces, one 30lb piece checked. Plus one carry-on. That's each. This was a good thing as we had all the loose ends from the house plus a bunch of beer for friends plus clothes, bedding, air mattress, etc. Well, we ended up being those people at the airport with luggage open on the floor trying to decrease the weight of certain pieces of luggage.
