We finished up Ireland on Sept 19th. After the beautiful town of Dingle, Ireland we moved on to Kinsale, Ireland. Another gorgeous place. Right on the Seaside, as they would say. Met up with Mike and Marg and Jackie in Kinsale. They had gone off to Killarney but my book friend Rick Steves said to go to Killarney was like going to Arkansa. Not sure why that comment but it was enough to take a pass. We opted for the much smaller more picturesque town of Glengarriff for the night. One main street with lots of pubs and restaurants. Everywhere we went was spectacular. We basically drove the coast all the way around Ireland. The Dingle peninsula was the best. I just came across this saved Blog written in December and shelved for a surprise like today. It is a blog written on Christmas day and I realise that it is pertinent to every day! After three long years we have finally met up with Sharon again. The main reason for her coming home was for Gary’s wedding in Poland. Before the wedding, however, we had two weeks together. Firstly we had arranged a Bar-B-Que for all of Sharon’s friends here in England to welcome her home. It was a great occasion and lovely to see her catch up with old friends and of course, Gary. Sadly, Milena could not come due to her singing commitments. The weather did it’s usual of course and kept us wondering if the rain would stop before it was time to light the Bar-B-Que!
