Geo: 37.0154, -7.93511Bom-Dia à tous,Nous sommes dans une chambre avec des français. On bavarde un bon moment. Aujourd'hui a notre grande surprise, il pleut beaucoup au matin et nuageux le reste de la journée. Un peu plus frisquet. Nous allons à Loulé. Une petite ville très jolie et un peu plus dans les terres. Puis allons à bras de Alportel. Jolie mais une peu morne. Nous revenons à l'auberge vers 16.00. Petite journée relaxe. Le temps nous y oblige. Le soleil semble vouloir revenir et nous allons assisté à son couché. On voit surtout beaucoup d'avion atterrir. La ville est super belle la nuit mais il a peu de monde dans les ruelles. Trop froid pour eux j'imagine. A demain.... read more

Geo: 37.1258, -7.64984Bom-Dia à tous,On a pris une journée de vacance de nos vacances. Une journée calme, nous visitons la ville nous nous y sentons vraiment bien. Nous prenons un petit bateau pour aller à la plage. Nous y passons 2 heures. La mer est calme et la plage immense. Nous revenons à l'hôtel nous reposer de notre journée ... hi hi Nous arrêtons au magasin pour acheter des crevettes. Nous lisons enfin les livres que j'ai amené pour le voyage (Je sais pas ce qui ma pris d'en emmener autant). J'ai trouvé un autre livre, on en avait pas assez! Nous avons trouvé du beurre d'arachide un luxe ici. Ça me change du pain avec fromage et jambon du déjeuner. A demain... read more

I'm in love with Lagos! We only stayed one day and night, but we could've easily stayed here 2 or more days! Many beautiful beaches with different sand colours and views. Many markets and fun shops surround the cosy little cobblestone streets. Restaurants and cafes, ice cream and music, history and entertainment. Even though i was extremely tired that day, i wanted to keep walking those streets til late at night. The city of Lagos has a unique charm. Everyone can find something to enjoy in Lagos. We had decided to stay on one beach and rest that day and soak up the sun. So we chose the main beach which was a ferry ride away from the city center. Every day we monitor our motorhome’s 150-litre capacity water tank. At home, the local water authority charges us for an average of 350 litres a day. Somehow here, we can make 150 litres last as long as three days. This southern part of Portugal is parched at the moment and with rain as scarce as rocking horse dung, water is precious. Two days ago we visited a little village called Paderne where plentiful water gushes from a natural mountain spring. Local farmers came to the spring and fill tanks mounted on the trucks and on tractor-drawn trailers. A six-inch pipe attached to an overhead gantry would swing over a water tank mounted on a truck. This is a young persons town, there are churches, and a castle but the draw here are the great beaches. We were a little worried when our GPS had us driving on a dirt road to our apartment. Both Mark and I thought, what kind of place have I booked us into. The apartment was just fine, a bedroom and bathroom downstairs with a patio off the bedroom. Upstairs was a kitchen, living room, TV and a balcony with table and chairs. The view from the balcony was of the beaches. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed our port. After a good breakfast we headed to the beach called Dona Ana, we got a early start because there is not a lot of parking. We found street parking and rented sun covers and lounges. ... read more
