I get two weeks in Northern Portugal in September 08 as part of my tour of Portugal, Spain, France and passing through the UK. | I'm thinking of maybe renting a small motor bike for touring about while I am in a Villa near Porto. The north is somewhat more european..,while the south is more arab and african. ( In fact the peninsula was invaded by the arabs in 700 and they stayed for 700 years. Portuguese are a mix of arabs, africans and people from north of europe ) The capital of the north is Porto. It is portugal second largest city. Braga.., is a great city. Extremely beautifull with lots of young people and thriving nightlife . In Braga there are several universities therefore the young people. Viana do Castelo is also beautifull.
