It's officially gorgeous. It should seriously be a crime to be inside right now. It's a balmy 53* out with just a bit of a a breeze and a perfect cloudless sky. Amazing. On the way back from school I had to stop about twenty times to just sit and enjoy the fact that I was biking along in Europe on a beautiful day. Yesterday a friend and I took advantage of the amazingness that is the weather right now and went on a bike ride down the Amstel river. The entire ride was the epitome of pastoral perfection. Children were having tea parties on the grassy banks, old couples were walking hand in hand, sheep bleated in the background, , little ponies grazed on the polders, and swans floated down the river. hey everyone...well I'm feeling it again that dreaded homesickness. To be honest with everyone I'm really super lonely on my trip. Granted it was my first night in a hostel and well I did meet someone to hang out with he's from Germany... but he's leaving tomorrow and well I dunno I'm really not finding it easy meeting people. yeah yeah I know i've only been here 1 night. I just feel like I want to come back early....which I wont..but I feel like it. well anywayz enough about me...so I'm in Rotterdam. Gee it's a beautiful city. Some of the structors here are soooo amazing it's insane. well everyone today was a quiet day. I was rather quite tired from walking around Amsterdam all day. So today I just chilled..painted my nails (hahha) and once Martie got off of work her and I went over to Enkhuzine it's a cute little village that has a pretty big harbour. So we walked around for a bit and had a nice cup of hot chocolate and tea. The weather was sooo beautiful today, it finally didn't rain!!! It was about +13 today. I could handle that everyday haha. Well tomorrow should be good (hopefully fingers crossed) I'm heading to Rotterdam tomorrow and staying in a hostel friday and saturday night. God I hope I meet some people. sorry everyone all you get today is a boring journal entry. I did go out today in fact I took the train all by myself. haha It was cool. I went to Hoorn and did some browsing. Only bought a few souveniers for the family back home. I did find some sweet ass converse high tops..oh my god ones that were black with white poka-dots and red laces and another pair with old school tattooing all over them. I know I know I don't need anymore shoes but STILLL!!! The weather today was terrible honestly my hair looks so awful the wind was blowing it in every direction haha ah well i'm on holidays I don't need to impress anyone ;) So sometime next week I'm going to stay in a hostel for a few nights...try ... read more

welll....it's been a fun few days. I think I'm feeling alot better now. Yesterday we went to Amsterdam. Oh my word god is that a huge city! Have I never seen so many people and water and bridges in my life HEHE! So much to do you honestly need more then 1 day there. I think I will go back a few more times. We went on a canal tour and saw all the beautiful bridges and buildings that are on the waters of amsterdam. It's so crazy that there are canals right through the streets of amsterdam. My family is so incredly nice to me making me feel at home. My dad's cousin Gerard reminds me sooooo much of dad it's insane. His mannerism and goofiness is so like my dad. Oh i miss my ... read more
