For 10 Euros a plate plus a beverage you get an assortment of roasted yellow and red peppers in garlic and olive oil, potato salad, green beans, fresh anchovies, braised artichokes, mushrooms and a slice of warm Italian hearth bread. The view from the spa cliffside café came with the seaside and orange trees. Europeans really know how to enjoy their holiday at thermal spas. For the better part of the afternoon I played in the seawater pools and hot and cold dipping pools that are therapeutic for circulation. Have left the others in the group and Gail and I have landed in Naples, meet Vincent, our driver who will take us down to Positano - about one and a half hour drive. Vincent stopped at many places along the way for photo opportunities. Roads incredibly narrow and many gulp moments along the way down to Positano - boy am I glad we didn't hire a car and do it ourselves. Positano is an amazing and beautiful place perched on the side of a mountain. Our accommodation is great and today we have walked miles and miles exploring the township. Limana acaip bir merdivenle iniliyor ve tek yaya yolu bu. Bir kayayı oyarak limana giden, çok etkileyici stratejik bir yol yapmışlar. Denizden gelecek tehlikeyi adeta sıfıra indirmişler ... Tarihte tabi... Yarın Ayşe için neşeli bir gün olabilir. Zira merdiven inip çıkmaktan nefret eder. Limana indim fiyatları ve saatleri öğrendim. Dönerken otobüse bindim. 1 E ya sahilden ,tepeye çıkarıyor. Geçen seyahatimizde ,Oslo da kaybettiğimiz şemsiyenin çok daha kalitelisini ,Allah razı olsun benim için otobüsteki koltuğuma bırakmışlar. I had to start off this page with something other than Wow, so there it was. Wow. The Amalfi Coast really is a great place to visit. There are just as many stairs to climb as in the Cinque Terre, although this area is ten times the scale and size. Accordingly, there is room for roads here, even if they are only a car and three-quarters wide, or a bus and half a car depending on your viewpoint! We didn’t see or hear of any accidents while we were here, but I’m glad I didn’t have to drive myself through here, let alone try to find a spot to park a car. Today was to be our one last walk up and down the hill for good coffee and our final cornetti. We’d discussed the idea of hiring a private driver as we agreed a person only really needs to do one trip down the Amalfi Coast on a bus! Our driver was arriving at 11.30am to deliver us to Napoli termini where we caught the fast train to Roma. On our walk I took in as much of the beautiful scenery as possible, to create a permanent stamp in my memory. It was a glorious day not a cloud in the perfect blue sky, the water slowly moving pushed along by the current with what appeared to be lights winkling on various ripples.
