So I've been back from Rome relaxing for a few days and I seem to have had not time to stop and write an entry. My trip to Rome was AMAZING, everything someone would wish and hope for and more. I could not have imagined it in my wildest dreams. Cabrina and I left for the airport at about 4am for our 6am flight and luckily made it in the nick of time thanks to her husbands speed racer driving. After shoulder checking some guys in purple shirts to make sure they didn't get to cut us in line (hah! like THATS going to happen) we boarded our plane and got on our way. Hello everybody Sorry but i dont really have time to do any travelblog because as some of you might know there is better things to do then to sit at an internet cafe for 2 hours when i should be going into the sunlight and be doing things that I can tell you all about when I get back anyway. I will wrize one more short blog and then Hopefully see you all in a week. we arranged a plan, with Sebi's host family, for his exchange to Germany, to stay a few nights because they didnt live far away. So I suppose it was yesterday morning when I began my adventure. After I pulled an all nighter the night before my husband drove me to Seattle then my father took me to the airport a few short hours later. Unfortunately my flight to San Fransisco was delayed a few hours. When I got to San Fran I had a few hours to kill and what did I stumble upon? A spa. So I treated myself to a great full body massage and decided that that is surely how a vacation is supposed to start. I finally got on my way then from San Fran I boarded my flight to Germany. Tuesday the 14th of July 2009 Distance: 50km hour: 3,50 We biked through a damp forest for a long time and we both thought we were lost but finally we reached a town called Stockstadt. We came to a fork in theroad and i said to go on way and Dad said to go one was and I said to go the other we went dads way and biked 10 more km then we had to. Finally we reached Achaffenburg which was very nice with lots of old buildings. We went to the information center and the liabary for internet. We biked on to Elsenfeld where we sadly found no accomadation so we just took so´me photos and trudged on to Erlenbach. Saturday 18th July 2009 Another morning and another 6am wake up, this morning I get up and get dressed into a skirt and top without realising that the thunder, lightening and rain last night has indeed cooled the temperature substantially and after breakfast I change immediately into jeans and a shirt which I had fortunately packed into my backpack... PHEW!!!! We head off from Prague at 8am and today we are off to the Rhine Valley in Germany. When we arrive in St Goar we go straight to the Stein Shop where they tell us how steins are made and what type of limited editions they have available.
