Hey guys. Been busy around lately with a good number of law suits and legal advices and likewise Got some time to write and have the opportunity to share out to you what's up with me. There are a lot of things to know most especially if you have an area similar to a legal practice. There is nothing effective than present legal insight and have the option to say to win the case. Despite the fact that is not the case some of the time because there are claims that is way much hassle free when compared to pressure from inside the court. As an legal professional, it is my accountability to analyze after my client's welfare. My sweetheart and I become accustomed to it and always communicate ideas. Nazdar! It’s been a little while since my last update, but this past week has been so absolutely insane that this is my first time to sit down and have a few free minutes to do something besides work, etc. Well, here we go. Last Friday morning, I hopped on the train and started my four hour journey into the east. Although Havlíčkův Brod lies right along the stretch between Prague and Brno (almost in the dead center, to be exact), the train connections here are otherwise atrocious. I can get to Prague and Brno very easily, there are trains leaving every two hours, but otherwise, it takes a while to get anywhere else (since I typically have to go to either Prague or Brno and then connect). Anyways, I headed down to my favorite city ... read more

By the above title I mean to say "the highest mountain in Moravia" and "the God of Moravia" (I don't really know who that is..) This weekend has turned out not to be too much of a language test, I just haven't been speaking much.. instead it turned out to be more of an endurance test filled with walks through landscapes whose off-the-track ground currently bears between 80cm and 3 metres of snowfall. The day temperatures are fine as long as you wear enough layers (maybe around -5 at the lowest), the paths are fine to walk on as long as you can work out where they are, and the air is squeaky clean. We arrived to Vrbno on thursday after a hectic journey featuring a domino chain of delays and running around stations to catch ... read more

Today was our 16 mile hike. It was split up into three sections, the first one was about eight miles but I’m not sure how long each of the other two were. The first section was by far the worst (and by worst I mean most physically demanding). Really it was only maybe the first two miles that made me want to die. I can't remember exactly what Michal told us, but I think the increase in elevation was something like 2000 feet (could be wrong, don't quote me on it). I realized pretty quickly that I’m really out of shape. That’s very upsetting because I worked out a good bit this past quarter. But back to the hike. The first little bit was kind of challenging - all up some pretty steep hills. It was ... read more

We spent slightly over 24 hours in Ostrava, enough to say we’d “been” but little more. Actually we wouldn’t have spent any time there if it weren’t for the relevant stars coming into alignment at the right time. Concord Dawn, one of NZ’s DnB production legends, was to be playing in the city around the same time we were to be travelling past. It would’ve been rude not to stop really ;) Walking the wide, empty streets of Ostrava felt like a totally different world after our experience in Zywiec. The two destinations are almost exact polar opposites. While Zywiec has it’s name to lean on, Ostrava is famous for its sprawling industrial nature that exploited the huge reserves of coal beneath the city. Despite this, the town is doing all it can to promote the ... read more

If I had to choose one word to describe what we did today, it would be the word walk, because basically that’s all we did. We woke up, had the complimentary breakfast in the hotel, and just walked. Not far from our hotel was situated not another famous tourist attraction, but the most famous attraction, Stodolni Street. This street is literally crazy, it was crowded with people. The atmosphere was hyper and upbeat and had somewhat of a music-based theme. Whether you’re an oldies type of person or a new, hip, today type of person, anyone could find their type of music. Abby and I stuck together and explored every single type of music that was there. It was pretty fun!! Another feature that this street contained was something that I’ll never forget; I swear there ... read more

Today it was our plan to visit one of the most important tourist attractions in the city. It’s called the Silesian-Ostrava Castle. This castle was built in the 13th century, but was reconstructed several times due to coal mining that was going on under it. I had such a fun time visiting this place, we learned about the history and development of the city, the Thirty Years War, we got to see a fresh water aquarium that was on the site, go through a witch themed exhibition, and we got to see a torture chamber. It was amazing. Abby and I were so amazed and caught up in the attraction that time flew by. Before we knew it, the sun was going down. One other thing that I can’t forget to mention was my bathroom situation. ... read more

Today we slept in, I don’t think our bodies are used to the time change yet. But once we were up and about, we used our handy-dandy map and found the first museum we were planning to go to on this trip. We went to a Mining Museum! It’s not something we would usually do, but traveling is all about exploring and learning about new things, so that’s how we started! I have to say, it was pretty cool! Our tour guide was a sweet older woman, who was born and raised in Ostrava. She was really nice and showed us parts of the museum that weren’t usually part of the tour! Abby and I felt so special! The museum contained many underground caves that we got to walk into. It was a little scary, but ... read more

Staring out the window, I spotted England from afar. The scene was amazing. Houses and buildings went as far as the eye could see. The sun was shining bright, but in a way you could tell it was cold outside. All of it was new to me and Abby, never have we’ve been to a different country. I was, and still am, in awe. Once we landed, Abby and I had to get off of the plane and go to the Czech Airline terminal. It was a little far from where we were, but the distance didn’t matter. Our concentration was on where we were and on all the new things that surrounded us. I felt a little scared because everything was so foreign and different, I’m so glad to have Abby with me because if ... read more
