Loved this place me and Hannah went across to magnetic island for the full moon party, got quite drunk and partyed all night with simon, john,verron,ian and mark that we met on fraser island and the whitsundays. Hannah and I decided to go for walk to the beach one day except missed the trail and ended up rock climbing down the side of a cliff through really prickley grass and all sorts, was worth it though the beach was mint. Frazer island is the biggest sand island in the world, its just an island full of sand, rainforrests and lakes, no swimming in the sea aloud as man eating sharks flipping around! You see pictures of this place with white sandy beaches, blue sky,turquise lagoons…not bloody likely it was the coldest day in something like 60 years!!!we took a 4 wheel drive with the others from our group tom, lucy,matt,jock,dave,hannah,carl and kelly and went round the island for 3 days. It was a gorgeous place ill give it that but was oh so cold. AT night we would set up our camp and pitch the tents then get drunk and play drinking games to make arctic night more bearable. Had a few drunken nights here with carl, kelly,hannah,llanan and charlotte, basically its like benidorm but in oz, hugh hotels, loads of shops, theme parks etc..i only stayed here for 4 days and amuzed myself by going to movie world and seaworld. The beach was really nice but very windy so no sunbathing for me. jackie and wayne came down for the day so that was really good to meet up with the shrims again, spent the day shopping and eating and ofcourse in the pub! Now this was a day out i can say, going to nimbin is like going back in time to some sort of crazy circus, theres hippies everywhere that seem to have been stuck in a time warp from when the mardie grass festivals started. I did see some strange characters i can say, the bus we went on was like being on a rollercoaster ride going up and down the hills with bob marley in the background. We went past bells beach where they have all the surf competitions. There are loads of stretches golden sand beaches with no one on them so it was really nice.
