My third trip to Santa Fe was basically pretty much the same as the previous ones from the touristic point of view- travelled 80 km north from Medellin, roughly one hour to get to a land with about 30º C, at only about 50 m above see level. Kind of reminded me of Santa Marta and it wasn't good at all. As much as I love Colombia, I guess SM will always be a trauma for me and it will be difficult to get over it. We left Medellin on Saturday, after partying all night- we had a surprise party for our sweet British friend- Rob- and went to Candela Res to celebrate him turning 27 :)) - LA MULTI ANI, ROB!!! -so I had slept only about 3 hours before waking up at 6.30 to pack my things, took my backpack to EAFIT, taught for 4 hours and did a great job !!!! :), ran to the South Terminal to buy the tickets which I stupidly postponed til the last minute, and started calling the girls to be sure they would get there in time. I am not exaggerating one bit when I say that mylife here is exactly like summer camp. Including my work which I absolutely adore!!Yes, definitely my life in Colombia has been pretty much like summer camp. Itºs not me saying it, it is my sister pointing that out and me admitting it. I have been quite busy lately, going out a lot, hanging out a lot with my friends.. a rainy Saturday...I had classes from 8 to 12... Finally I got to see it. The famous Pueblito Paisa. And I must hand it to the people who advertise it as if it were the best thing in Medellin, it is one of the nicest places to visit indeed.
