The flight went very smoothly and most of the students seemed to sleep quite well. I wish I could say the same for me but as always I spent most of the flight wide awake and uncomfortable. I really do hate flying!! When we got to London we were greeted by very misty weather. The heatwave they have been having in England was over and the forecast was very heavy showers. Luckily the weather forecasters got it wrong and we survived the day without getting wet. In fact the afternoon was beautiful, about 25 degrees and very sunny. From Heathrow airport we caught the tube to the hostel, left our luggage in the store room and then walked to Tower Bridge, where we had a traditional English breakfast.
