Clear blue skies to start the day with so we headed off to the London Eye. From there we walked over the Thames to Trafalgar Square and a short visit to the National Gallery. From there it was off to Covent Garden for lunch and a bit of shopping. The rest of the day was spent enjoying the sight and sounds of the carnival.
