DAY 382 I slept well last night after our very long day, but wow it is personally rewarding, my soul is settled as it feels like it has gained its worth again, that is important to me. DAY 381 I worry about the unthinkable happening, we have been blogging for over a year now, so what is the likelihood that we will accidentally entitle a blog with a name that we have used before, I wonder if any other blogger has had that problem? I am sure they have. DAY 380 It’s Sunday today, but as usual everyone is up and out on harvest duty somewhere on these 6000 acres. I start my day with stripping the bed linen, I see in the laundry that Helen has done the same thing so as she has a huge top loader washing machine I put the whole lot in together. While the washing machine does its thing I have some breakfast. DAY 379 This morning I woke up tired, we have been putting some hard yakka in on the farm, but this is farm life, this is harvest time, it has to be done, however tired everyone is it still goes on. I have a quick cup of tea and Helen and I head off, me in the fire truck and Helen towing the fuel bowser. DAY 378 I could not believe my eyes getting back to the house last night (or should I say this morning), the ceiling over the veranda was covered in flies, they were swarming over our empty Esky which was sitting outside, fortunately they only seem to come to the front of the house and not the back, I don’t know why, maybe it is cooler around the back? DAY 377 There is never a dull moment on the farm, which is proven to be quite true much later today. Up at 7.15, and made myself a cup of tea as Helen and I are off to Wagga Wagga this morning, providing there are no more disasters on the horizon. We left early so that we could have breakfast when we got there. DAY 376 I got up early again today, it was 7.00 Andy was waiting for Jason who turned up fairly quickly so I grabbed the freshly made cup of tea that Andy had made for himself and drank it. DAY 375 Andy brought me a cup of tea this morning, it is 7.00, I wanted to be up in good time as I am going to Wagga Wagga today with Helen to do a bit of shopping, Helen has a 9.00 appointment in town so we need to be leaving Woodstock by 8.15 in order to get there in time. DAY 374 It was already daylight but Andy was still asleep, I checked my watch it was about 6.00 but not long after Andy was up and in the shower. He was long gone by the time I got up, I slept straight through until 7.45, I have no idea why, but I seem to sleep so much here at Woodstock. I wandered into the kitchen it was completely void of people, the radio was talking, everyone had things to do and had much earlier left to get on with their day. DAY 373 I awoke with terrible cramp in my calf muscle, I rubbed it for ages before it calmed down and went back to normal. I had a glass of water beside me, it was a warm night so I drank it down with ease and eventually went back to sleep. I knew Andy had already got out of bed, it was daylight already but I was tired so carried on sleeping, we had a late night last night and after all that travelling a small lie in was deserved.
