DAY 364 An awful nights sleep, with continual scratching at the early part, I am sure whatever has been biting is still in here despite the copious amounts of Mortein sprayed earlier, I had to get out of bed and take one of these allergy tablets that seem to be doing little to help, oh and a generous helping of calamine lotion once again, I got back into bed and wrapped myself in the sheet and blanket, I am convinced it is in the sleeping bag, I even wore my fleece as it was a cold night. DAY 363 For some reason this morning I was up and out of bed at 6.15, I suppose I could have slept on if I wanted to, but the daylight was up and I wanted to see the beach in the earliest light possible. DAY 361 I woke up my usual way after what can only be described as a poor nights sleep, I sat out side in the morning sun just watching the world go by and doing a bit of blog. DAY 360 We both slept well, the weekend events seem to have caught up with us, except that Andy was still out of bed in his usual early way, I looked at my watch, it was 6.30am and Andy was on Skype talking to the Truman family in Victoria, except that it is 7.30 in Victoria, they are now in Daylight Saving, which Queensland does not have. DAY 358 I awoke in the night and could hear someone’s TV, they are laughing too, a light is on in one of the apartments at the back of us, it is not so loud to disturb us but I am pretty sure that their neighbours cannot be too impressed, I get out of bed to go to the loo, it is 3.30amand can see a few sites up from us a man sitting outside with a light on using his computer, perhaps insomnia has got the better of him, or is he being kept awake by the noisy neighbour? DAY 357 We got back to the trailer about 2.40 this morning, I was dog tired but ok, however Caroline was a bit worse for wear although she managed to direct me through Townsville and back to the campsite. I woke at 7.00am and got straight up and put the kettle on, Caroline stirred and I made her a cup of tea. I had drunk mine by the time her not so smiley face appeared and she sat down in the chair opposite me. DAY 356 After washing up the pots, pans and other kitchen utensils from last night, I said to Caroline I would do her poached eggs on toast if she so fancied them, as she has been off eggs since her Mt Surprise, “Egg Surprise”. She said she would give it a go so I would prefer her to have a good egg experience instead of staying off them for ever.
