Edit Blog Post
(Hi All,
Firstly our apologies as tis blog will be technically out of sync, due to the fact this is an important date, and there will be still a couple of blogs to be completed, the final one of last wedding over East, one ofwhen we recently Saw Peter and Leigh Walker and our visit to Perth Zoo.
This blog number 830,is quite a milestone for Kangaroojack and what he/ we have achieved, so this is what it is all about.
How about this then we have been a member of the travel blog community for 7 years today about this time we were heading towards fever pitch in the UK with only about 2 months before we departed for our massive adventure in Australia
Here is the very first blog that was typed by Kangaroojack dated 30 September 2007, Caroline was the author and it was short and to the point, we had not yet got in to the rhythm of how to blog at this stage.
Kangaroojack’s first Blog-Preparing for the Event The weather today is the usual British summer weather
- wet. But under our umbrella of excitement the weather is fine really - in our minds we are already in Australia on our adventure.
With so much to do around the house still - two landmark events have taken place this week. I resigned from the gym and Andy sold the barbecue (sob!!).
I came across the conclusion this week that it is easier to resign from a job than it is from the gym - I gave 3 months notice - well a little over 3 months, but of course then comes the persuasion and gimmicks to stay at the gym and not give up entirely - well! I have to say I cannot really get to the gym from Australia and I am hoping that we have so much of an outdoor lifestyle that I will not want to see the inside of a gym.
Wait to see what's next.

So this blog represents the first of the 830 blogs we have now published, 9138 photo’s that we have uploaded on line and the one Millions one hundred and eighty thousand two hundred and five
words we have typed not including the words on this blog 1180205
We are proud of what we have produced, it’s a body of work that has taken a lot of time to produce and it represents all we have seen and done in Australia.
Where to next, well it has to be a 1000 blogs as its only 170 to go, and of course we have some adventure coming up.
