You've gone crazy!! Feeding wild aligators! Your adventures having given you both far too much courage! :)
Who's reading 'life of Pi'? Great book, just read it for the 2nd time Love Lor xx
Blog and photos = points 10 out of 10 We could not believe our eyes. Carla with a piranha (where are the dogs when you need them) and Matt sleeping with a giant hamster!!!! it takes all sorts, The photos are breathtaking and for us just "out of this world" and Carla your blogs have changed so much, your writing now reduces me to tears, as Matts often does. Wow you have seen a woodpecker that makes us level pegging (the one we saw was a green woodpecker) and what a photo opportunity with the owl that was amazing!!! continue on safely enjoy Rio and relax and try and reflect on the last 12 months, difficult to do in in two weeks,as we are sure your reflections will last a lifetime!! (you do realise when you get back we will expect a blog often) they have made our day,and we have looked forward to them so do not know how we will cope without them, mozza suggests we start from the beginning and open a new one every 10 days (not such a bad idea)!! Hope you got my Rio link, enjoy relax and travel safely wants and needs... now seems almost redundant, love always xxxxx
Great Friends How lucky you were too meet such lovely people like Adriana and Betina, they must have gave you more insight into Brazil than you would have experienced in the normal travel mode.If they read this comment as Carla's Dad I would like to thank them and their family for the hospitality and affection shown to you both.
This has been an unforgetable episode in your travels along with many others. We have been with you every step of the way and as your journey reaches its conclusion we will be so happy to see you again, yet will miss the anticipation of the graphic descriptions of your travels.Thank you for sharing the experience with us we have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Love Trev XX
High Falls Another great blog ,great to beable to get them again. Both look really well on the sun beds with your little cheap!!!! picnic beside you it helps to have a good breakfast ,did you have room in your bags for the dressing gowns?
Mike Reid is dead? Despite being in Oz, both of us are addicted to the BBC and we missed this massive news!
Great pics, makes wentworth falls look a little pidily eh?
That Toucan looks like a right chave with the 'flames' on it's beak. It looks like one of those black shirts with fire on it. Glad you both enjoyed the falls and Bill Oddie is sat next to me crying and moaning about how he has never seen a toucan. He has only ever seen a black bird and all the other stuff was fake and made by Terry Nutkins in a sort of sell your soul to the 'Nutkins' deal. Ps that goes for lispy Crisp Packham as well.
water water everywhere!!! How great to have the blogs back, thanks to Andy for backing them all up!!!Your birthdays looked fab so glad you had a great time, the falls are terrific and what a great sight to have seen as you say not to be forgotten in a hurry!!!! Well it maybe the last country for you guys but for us it has been a terrific journey and one we are so glad we were able to follow you with the blogs, so goodness knows what the "real thing" has been like!!! last adventure country but another journey will begin and bring you different wants and needs and will we know, make you as happy. We miss you and cannot wait to see you both continue on safely remember wants and needs.... Take care our intrepid travellersxxxxxx
six weeks... Oh shoot, again with the excellent blog - although this one made me a bit sad - i can't believe that the chilled2thecore trip is going to finish so soon... you've been an inspiration to me in planning my trip - we're heading off in Sept after getting married and you've been one of my fav blogs over the past months... that's what happens when you inter-web, random strangers become your fan! enjoy every second, take care aoife, dublin. xx
The sexy dance I am surprised you two have not tried Tango lessons as you have tried nearly everything else, plus you would get a good laugh as it would be fun or did you do them else where ?
Paaaaattttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have lost your Mike Reids then it couldn't have come at a more poignant time - the real Mike Reid, along with his glasses, popped his clogs yesterday. Top blogs, I've been reading them for research into my own trip to South America next year, I got hooked and had to go back and read from the start of your trip. Your photos are awesome, is your camera an slr or compact? I'm thinking of taking my slr next year but am worried about not getting myself out of a burger relish incident as easily as you did.
Fab pics again dude, Matt really does look like Danny Murphy in the pic (if my sum total of footie knowledge is the Ok mag wedding to 'one of' the blonde birds from hollyoaks??)
Love y'all

cat walk or dog run The pair of you would look good on the cat walk modeling those lovely !!! outfits the colours went well together! at least you would stand out from the crowd and not get lost even if you were head down in a snow drift.
Hi guys, still enjoying your blog and making us wish we were still away too. Life back in the UK just doesn't compare to the adventures on a RTW trip! Especially when we arrived back to the wettest summer since 1760!! You are keeping our dream alive! Happy travels
Clare and Max (fellow bloggers!)

Very Good Experience!!!! Emily and I read your blog together (and it made me cry) the first paragraph anyway!!!Emily thinks the snow looks great but very cold, with your bare hands you must have been freezing, did you make snowballs?did you see any scary animals and were there any Husky dogs? Olivia and I are making you a new sign for your return to France it will say "Bienvenue" Matt and Carla!!! welcome is what it means. We have loved the blog and cannot believe it is only 53 days left continue to enjoy and keep safe and not too much more extreme stuff to do!!! love to you both and special hug and kisses from Emily and Olivia xxxxxxxxx
cold madness Upto now we have been with you every step of the way - but this time we gladly stayed in the lodge - but full marks to you both what an experience.
Love to you both take care of each other
Remember folks 'Regret what you do, not what you don't' and with that thought we welcome you to our round the world travel blog.
As our journey is now over we hope that some of our stories and adventures may help or inspire anybody else who is lucky enough to be currently in any of the locations we visited or planning to travel in the near future.
Do we regret our trip ? .......... absolutely not it was the best year of both our lives and even though we are now back home and things have already started to fall back into exactly the same places they were before we left...... we will alway... full info
