One extreme to Another!! The blog was great although sense the North Island did not ring your bells, however... Onwards and Upwards or is it to the right a bit and voila !!! another continent, how exciting will that be, Mozza has registered a new extreme sport with the NZ sports authority, and it is Extreme sub-barrier gliding ( not sure it will take on) wet shoes and wood barriers required. Chile will bring lots of different and new adventures, hope your spanish is coming on, ola, como esta usted? por pavour, and cuba libra (the spellings are not right, but the spanish is) from what I remember from long ago!!! so hope this helps and continue on with your great adventure, we are still missing you like mad and cannot believe it was only 14 /15 days since we were last together, what a crazy world, but a great one for you to see!!! re Nz ,the whales etc I really envy your spectacular experience in seeing the whales and the other wildlife .I was in NZ in february 2007 for one month ,however not the right time to see these woderful creatures in the wild .i spent a month travelling through out the south and north Islands .For me it's the best country ever .the sheer beauty and freedom is unsurpassed .Milford sound is breath taking .I gave up trying to describe to my friends the beauty of NZ .So much WOW! factor you get drunk on it. really enjoy this wonderful country ,people are great as well ,mind you it does help if you like rugby and cricket. enjoy the rest of you adventure .

Roger Port aka Phileas now on the final part of RTW at 10 to 12 on the clock
End Of An Era Great Blog! The scenery looks breathtaking.I new New Zealand was supposed to be beautiful but it sounds even better than I had imagined and you have lots more to come.It must have been great when you all met up after so long(wish we were there)must have been some experience in the ice bar.
My old Granada alas has now given up the ghost after 16 years of loyal service the gearbox has finally coughed its last cough.Although still driveable its last journey will be to the old knackers yard in the sky.Think about it,Carla was 12 years old and Chelsea were a crap football team when we welcomed it into the, family, so many holiday trips, camp sites and airport journeys have now been resigned to the history books. Love Ya All Trev X
Fantastic! Your photos look so incredible! Cant wait to go travelling round Oz (for 1st time!) and NZ (for 3rd time!) next year!
You'll love Christchurch, it's a beautiful city and the people are all really nice. The towns around Christchurch are really cool as well, Sumner is a really nice beachfront town about 20 mins outside Christchurch with some great cafes and restaurants by beach. Akaroa is by far my favourite town. We went swimming with dolphins in the wild there which was amazing. Kaikoura is really cool for whale watching. If you head down to Queenstown you'll have an amazing time there too - the white water rafting is a must! Even though I'm a big wimp and had never done anything like it before - I loved it! Scared the hell out of me, but so worth doing! Have lots of fun!
Courgette or Zucchini? Hay guys!
Your recent blog made me chuckle - I often watch Ready Steady Cook in my lunch hour - yes I am ashamed to admit that! That guy is as camp as they come and makes the worst jokes on tv! Do you know when it will be on the tv? Loved the capsicum observation - that annoys me the most and the courgette/zucchini and the Crisps/Chips ones too!
CLD loving that green top - where is it from???
Take Care x
Spectacular Photos Your blog is great and photos are really beautiful. I am an Aussie currently living in China and looking at your photos make me so proud of my Home Country. All the best with your travels, Dani
about the apostles... we have seen the 12 apostles 3 or 4 days ago and a newspaper article in a hostel in apollo beach told us, that 9 are still there, but a few are hidden. the pile of stones in the front of your last photo in this entry is one apostle, which has been collapsed a few years ago (i dont remember the exact date)
we are looking forward to the great outback!!!!!!
no worries!
